How to Train The Smallest of God’s Children into the Greatest of These
A Six Week Family Study by Tara Wall
I want more of THIS in my family:
More together time, more “good” stuff, more connection and more love.
I understand that I have to be intentional to make that happen.
(If you want to read my post about living intentionally, visit here.)
Whether you read my post about living intentionally or not, you must know that being intentional takes work. You actually have to have a plan, a purpose and a goal with live, actionable steps that you will commit to get you to that goal.
It doesn’t have to be big. It doesn’t have to be complicated. But you’ve got to do the work.
I decided I needed a plan to make more of that precious learning time happen in my home.
I sat and thought about my kids, what character traits they needed to work on, what habits and ideas *I* had to work on… and where I wanted the direction of our family to go.
I started scribbling notes, adding verses, and sketching fun ideas.
I didn’t want it to be complicated, but I wanted it to have lasting impact.
I want to get the good stuff into my kids before the rest of Life gets in there first.
So, I created this devotional.
It is a six week study of several simple and important lessons I wanted to work on and talk about with my kids.
Once I knew I was creating it, I thought more about the other kids I know: my kids’ friends, my nieces and nephews, and all the kids in our Children’s Sunday School Program at our church.
There was so much I wanted to say, and so much I wanted to get in there.
My hope for you is that you are able to share this with your kids, and the “good” stuff gets in there.
My hope is for great conversations around the breakfast table or on the front porch.
My hope is for memories to be made and lasting impressions that stay with these kids for the rest of our lives.
(Am I the only one who has trouble remembering just how important a job that Parenting is???? It’s incredible!)
You are free to download these copies and share with anyone you may like. Print them off as many times and as often as you like.
I would LOVE to hear your feedback and family times. PLEASE take a minute to tag me on Facebook and Instagram if you catch your magical moments with your babies.
Every blessing to every one of you!
Tara

And that’s it! You will want a pencil, crayons, scissors and maybe some extra paper once in awhile. Grab your Bible and get talking with your kids!
