How to get organized AND have great content at the same time!!
Hey friends,
If you have been around Facebook and Instagram and basically anything social media for a hot minute, you KNOW how important it is to be CONSISTENT for the algorithms!!!
But how can you do that when you’re so BUSY?????
Simple Answer: Organization.
That’s it. Really.
The most successful people I have followed over the past few years all have one specific theme in common: they are ORGANIZED.
Not always in a “Marie Kondo” type of way, but the kind of organization that causes them to create chunks of time to devote to ONE specific task at a time.
And it really works.
Now, if you’re a visual person like me, you need to SEE the plan in order to carry it out. Also, if you’re an old-school person like me, you like good old fashioned paper to work with. I am all for every tool of technology that streamlines our lives and makes them easier, but there’s something about a piece of paper that turns me back in to a school girl at my desk, ready to score an A+ on my next assignment.
Can anyone out there relate?
I tried googling every option for a paper calendar I could print out and use for myself, but nothing was what I was looking for. So, I decided to create one of my own.
Since Facebook is my biggest audience and growth goal at this time, I decided to gear all the elements of the planner towards the things Facebook likes: 2 posts a day, assuming you are also going Live at least two times a week. (Note: Uploading videos to Facebook is NOT the same thing as going live!)
I also added a couple options in there for opportunities to grow your email list. This is SO important as you start out! Do not wait until you are rich and famous before you start an email list! Start it YESTERDAY! It can be as simple as a landing page to a freebie you have, or as complex as a special PDF of a recipe or tip or life hack you want to share. Whatever it is, give yourself a couple times a week to intentionally grow your list!
Make sure your posts are ENGAGING and they ASK your people questions. The more people respond to your post, the more reach you will gain.
And that’s the basics of Facebook Post Scheduling 101.
